These limited edition upcycled t-shirts were designed in collaboration with multidisciplinary artist and fashion designer Claudia Gontovnik. Seaming together style, social responsibility and sustainability the label gives a new life to items that already had one, committed to stopping the widespread feeding of toxic chemicals into our environment.
This t-shirt is made with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Claudia's signature "suture" style highlights the pressing need to stitch together our differences in today's world. The raw and honest exposure of seams and visible knotting of the embroidery thread embrace imperfection and foreground. The embroidery is done by a group of mothers head of household in Medellin, Colombia and takes several days to complete.
It's a revolution of consciousness what we are aiming for, a revolution that will lead us in a path of love and harmony with nature, animals and humans. 135ºW - 155ºW, 35ºN - 42ºN stands for the coordinates of the giant accumulation or “island” of plastic called the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. It contains at least 79,000 tons discarded plastic, covering an area of about 617,800 square miles (1.6 million square kilometers). That is three times the area of France and more than twice the size of Texas, demonstrating the urgency of this revolution.
